Studying in Temasek Polytechnic is an enriching and enjoyable experience with loads of exposures to the outside world. In the second or third year, every student is given the opportunity to experience working in the actual working environment through SIP.

Most of the subject courses in TP are project-based, this helps to better prepare students for their future careers by training them in their presentation skills as well as their abilities to work in groups.

During final year, all students will be tasked with a major project (MP). To complete these MPs, students will have to integrate all the knowledge they have learnt throughout their 3 years in TP.

Also, the entire campus is linked with free wireless Internet connection. This enables the students to access the Internet anywhere in the school using the PCs at the various computer labs or with their laptops. With this useful facility, the students are able to check their emails or do their work easily.

Equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, the campus of TP definitely caters to your learning needs.

Unlike other polys, TP practises a different education system of its own - FAST. (Flexible Academic System for Temasek) FAST allows students to manage their learning pace in their poly life. If they wish to do so, students can always choose to take a subject at a later time. This will however, delay the pupil's date of graduation slightly. Like other polys, lessons are mostly conducted in the forms of lectures, tutorials and practicals.
