In polytechnics, lessons are usually conducted in the forms of lectures, tutorials and practicals.
This is something you wont be able to experience in the primary and secondary schools.

Like any other polytechnics, lectures in TP are conducted in lecture threatres (LT). Lecture threatres are large rooms with a capacity of atleast 120 seats. Most LT in the campus stretches diagonally to 2 storeys high, with an exit at both ends.

Attending lectures isnt compulsory for most cases, but students are strongly encouraged to attend them in order to have better understanding of their subjects. Also, majority of the lecture contents can be found over at TP's OLE system. It is advised for students to print these notes over from the OLE system before coming to every lecture classes. *If you havent been in any of these LT yet, just imagine yourself sitting in the cinemas!
