Established in the year 1990 ( 06 April ), Temasek polytechnic was the
third polytechnic set up, out of the five existing polytechnics in Singapore.

Currently, there are around 1,300 staff, and over 13,000 students from 43 different full-time courses pursuing their diplomas in TP.

Temasek Polytechnic comprises of 5 academic schools specialising in the areas of Applied Science, Business, Information Technology and Engineering.
